- ePrint or Print App Issues?
We heard from many of you after a recent firmware update last week regarding service interruptions and delays for some of HP's web services for the web-connected printers including ePrint, print apps, and the ePrintCenter web site. Thank you so much for letting us know of these issues via the ePrint and Print App Support Forums. Within minutes of the first complaints, our team quickly worked to understand the problem and complete updates to improve connectivity and reliability. All systems should be back at normal service levels at this time.
In general, many issues related to web services can be addressed by this fix:
- Turn off the wireless (WiFi) option at the printer's front panel or in the wireless settings menu. Then turn on again, wait 5 minutes, and your printer should reconnect to HP's web services.
- If you continue to have issues, you can turn your printer off and then on again. That alone may resolve the problem but if not, go to web settings using the front panel of your printer and remove web services. Then re-enable web services to re-establish your connection to ePrint and Print Apps. Note: this step will result in a new email address being assigned to your printer.
If there is ever a time where you experience trouble with your web-connected printer, please visit the HP Support Forums and post a comment. This is the best and fastest way we can help address your specific need. On the forums, HP employees and experienced users field questions and respond to problems.
We appreciate your need to get quick response when there is an issue. And that’s why we have the forums. We really do appreciate all of the feedback we get and thank you for participating to help make your printing experience even better.
