New on D110a models: Scheduled Delivery

If you have a Photosmart e-All-in-One (model D110a) you'll find a new feature called Scheduled Delivery available via five new print apps on the HP ePrintCenter.

With Scheduled Delivery, you can arrange to have your printer deliver printed news and information directly to your printer at any time of the day – ideal, for example, if you want to grab the morning crossword puzzle on your way out the door each morning, or get movie info every Thursday night when making your weekend plans. You can start or stop the delivery service at any time – it's basically designed to make your life easier by providing you the content you want, when you want it.

At launch, this feature is only available on the Photosmart e-All-in-One (model D110a) and accessible through five brand new print apps, including:

Motley Fool print app

You will notice all of the print apps, current and future, that feature Scheduled Delivery will be listed on HP ePrintCenter with a small clock icon (see the image on the right) that denotes you can set-up a delivery time and frequency for printouts. (Please note: if you don't have a D110a model, the new print apps listed above will not show up in your tray of available print apps since the Scheduled Delivery service is not yet available on other models).

The video link included above walks you through a step-by-step tutorial showing you how to start using this feature. Personally, I plan to set up the 7-Day Menu Planner on Wednesday mornings when I plan my shopping; and will schedule the Kids Only content to give my little ones something to do while I make my grocery lists. I've printed a couple of the Disney App's for my granddaughter. I glad to find out their more Apps to choose from.  I've haven't had no problems printing the apps.

I can't get the printer to work wireless or the eprint to work...ready to take it back. I have even posted on the hp forum for help with all of the info and no one seems to be able to help.....NOT HAPPY

Just wanted to add my two cents, since there are many comments detailing negative experiences with the eprint service. Everything works as explained and as expected. It does take sometime to setup the eprint service. But once it's setup, it's great. I have the printer setup in places where the employees don't have the knowledge on how to use a computer, but they can read and write. So I relay instructions to them from my iPhone (thru email) and the email gets printed on the D110A printer, and I get a confirmation that my instructions were indeed printed out. And when the employees want to send me a message, they write it out in a piece of paper, place it on the scanner, select "scan to PC-->Email image", a windows pops up on the email program of the computer where my email address is stored in the address book. At this point, they simply type the first letters of my name and my email address is automatically filled in by the email program, they click "send" and that's it. (I had to teach them this last bit, but they learned it pretty fast). So there you have it: two way communication without the need to know how to use a computer. But on my end is all via email on my iPhone. Thanks to HP's eprint service and D110A Photosmart printer/scanner.

I had a "HECK" of a time understanding the "TERMS" used in the setup, which

number to enter for what step. Trial and error finally got me connected to my wireless home router. THEN cam the iPhone, email direct to your printer from ANYWHERE!!! - Then we get the "Not connected to the network" so on and so forth...I finally went to the on-line manual for the D110a and after getting the "installation will not be complete until the page prints" message and about six

tries later (enter this email code), the page finally all of a sudden printed. Go figure!

Your installation instructions really SMACK!

I forgot, I did have a problem with the instructions.  It doesn't mention you HAVE to set the network up on the printer first via the screen and THEN install the software.  Doesn't mention it until later which is not in the order of which you install hardware or anything.  The wireless part is disabled that is why you have to set it up first.

I haven't had a problem with my D110a.  Just the screen where you have to put the numbers in for the network etc are small.  Ugh.  But basically, the apps work.  The weather isn't as accurate as I would like.  It says rain when we get snow.  Anyway, wish there were more apps.  The printer works very good for my network and my use.  Setting up the printer was pretty straight forward.  I have already recommended it to a friend and installed it on their systems first and then I bought one myself.

This eprint is complete junk!   What a hassle to get it to work properly.  Did HP field test this?  

I will be returning my printer in 10 minutes.

I just want to know the list of apps available for all of the printers. For example, if my D110a only allows me this this and that appp, I would like to knoe. And, this is what I would like to know for all of the printers and apps.

MsPriss04, the best place to get help is our ePrint and Print App support forum.  A forum search with a few specific keywords will more than likely display a similar post.

I'm having the same issue that Alfred31 is having!  Customer service is horrible.  My printer prints from the Zeen and my laptop; however, I am unable to print from my cell phone or work computer.  I have set up everything.  I have an email address...everything worked in the beginning.  I am livid b/c I paid $400 for this sorry piece of crap printer...and did I mention that customer service sucks???

How about working on the wireless net work,the printer icon always indicates NOT Connected.
